Clinical Therapist: Full-time and part-time openings

As a Clinical Therapist at J. Higgins Counseling you will be part of a local private practice focused on providing high quality, in-person, psychotherapy services. This practice is designed for minimal administrative burden so you can emphasize time with clients. Set your own schedule, optimize your flexibility and maximize your income.

What you can expect as a Clinical Therapist at J. Higgins Counseling:

  • $85,000 – $100,000 per year (full time)
  • W-2 Employment with bi-weekly payroll & direct deposit

  What J. Higgins Counseling expects from Clinical Therapists:

  • NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) of Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Three years of related experience in an outpatient mental health setting
  • Twenty-five sessions per week for full time
  • Experience with or willingness to learn EMDR or another evidence-based trauma-focused intervention
  • Desire to be part of a small group practice with an emphasis on professional growth and development
  • Interest in having all the tools and resources needed to succeed combined with the autonomy to use them with minimal administrative burden
  • Driven to provide effective high quality services to people in our community
